The Parker Variant Adjustable is a precision tool that will serve you well for many years. It is the perfect razor for beginners and experts alike. The blade angle can be adjusted by turning the knob on the bottom of the razor, so that the exposure can be set to each individual’s preference. This beautifully designed satin chrome plated all brass frame is a heavyweight, smooth shaver. Adjustable Settings: Multiple settings to adjust the blade angle with a dial at the bottom with settings from 1-5, with 1 being the mildest and 5 the most aggressive. Customizable settings accommodate differences in facial hair thickness, skin type, preference and experience level.

This is my personal, go to razor, especially when I'm trying out a new blade. With settings from 1 through 5 in .5 increments, the VARSC is Parkers most versatile razor. When evaluating a double edge blade, I will start with the razor on setting 3, right in the middle of the scale, and make adjustments from there. Too aggressive, down to setting 2, too mild, up to setting 4. Also with it's 2 piece design it's one of the best on the market, quick and easy to disassemble and clean this razor was built to hand down to your kids.
